Rite of Spring - arr. for 14 Players

Stravinsky's Rite of Spring arranged for 14 players.

Commissioned by the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, this arrangement by Elizabeth Kimble, Noah Luna, Anthony Porter, Jon Russell, and Winton White shrinks the size of the orchestra without losing any might in the Rite. This arrangement is ideal for chamber orchestras, larger chamber groups, and can be licensed at a special rate for student ensembles.

Two Percussionists:
Marimba, Bass Drum, Crotales, Timpani, Triangle, Tambourine, Tom-toms,
Piatti, Tam-tam, Roto-toms, Tam-tam, *Xylophone, **Glockenspiel

Viola
Violoncello
Contrabass

*If Xylophone is not available, part can be played on Marimba with hard mallets
*If Glockenspiel is not available, part can be played on Crotales
