A musical setting of four excerpts from the Poems of Joe Bolton: "Seascape: Destin Florida", "The Beginning of Summer", "Tropical Lament", "Page". Commissioned by the Friction Quartet, this work for 4 string players and 4 singers is a reflection on Bolton's words and personal struggles with depression, despair, and fate.
